Build -Up to the 2006 World Championships Prague

The build up for the World Champs is well underway. The atmosphere is becoming more tense as the last days of nation training come to an end. The NZL team have been focussed and working hard on the course. The athletes are supporting each other with training as they don't have a coach and are the poor cousins of all the other nations here. With 121 K1 m and 74 C1 M in the competition and only the top 40 going through to the semi-finals the competition will be stiff. Send any support messages to the blog for the team it is always great to hear from NZ
