Athens World Cup 2006

The spectacular course at Athens was the scene of the first World Cup 2006. Most of the New Zealand Team flew directly into Athens from NZ hitting high temperatures after the cooler southern hemisphere. Training went well as the team acclimiatized however racing results were disappointing. top 40 went through in K1M and top 30th in K1W and C1M

World Cups 2006

The NZL Senior Canoe Slalom Team have just completed the World Cups in Europe. Results were varied and the general feeling is the team must arrive in Europe to have race preparation before competing. A number of the team are currently sitting university exams in France.
