Brazil - nothing is ever just the same

There is a short walk 400 m from the carpark to the course drop off and today the local tourism 'Safari" vehicle turned up to transport us from the carpark to the course entrance. The last couple of days the bus always had the driver tinkering under the bonnet so guess with the aircon on full as temperatures climbed it has blown something!!! as today this was our mode of transport. Tourists pay a fortune for this open air travel .
Drinking water is now provided at the course and the nation training has heated up. Bryden and Andrew have arrived today and are hoping to have their boat disinfected so they can have a session this afternoon on the water. The Kiwis trained this morning so Kidda is hoping another nation may allow them to join in their slot.
Security remains tight and will increase with the competition getting closer.
Anyone wanting to watch the competition will have to go through the first security point and obtain passes at the control area. I understand they will then be bused from that point to the course. I know a couple of Kiwis travelling around are hoping to arrive to watch the competition and support the Kiwis
